Expungement Service Agreement

This Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into as of the date signed below, between the CleanSlate Docs identified below ("Provider") and the individual signing this Agreement ("Client"). This Agreement governs the terms and conditions under which CleanSlate Docs will assist Client with expungement services in the applicable state listed below.

1. Purpose of This Agreement

This Agreement outlines the professional services we provide to assist you with the expungement of eligible records under the laws of the state where your case will be filed. Our role is to guide the process from start to finish with precision, compliance, and clear communication.

2. Scope of Services

We will:

Review your records to confirm your eligibility for expungement.
Prepare and file all required petitions with the appropriate court(s).
File electronically where applicable through the state’s official e-filing system:

Note: This Agreement does not include representation in hearings or appeals. If a court appearance becomes necessary, the CleanSlate Docs can arrange for an attorney to represent you under a separate agreement at a fee of $450 per court appearance.

3. Your Responsibilities

Your cooperation is essential to the success of your expungement. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information regarding your history.
Submit requested documents promptly (e.g., court records, case dispositions).
Disclose prior expungement filings or related matters.
Respond promptly to our communications.
Attend any required hearings. While rare, hearings may occur. Failure to appear may result in dismissal of your case, despite our best efforts.

4. Fees and Payments

Service Fee: $498, reduced from the regular price of $799.
Payment Schedule: 50% of the service fee is due at checkout. The remaining balance will be automatically charged when the petition is ready for filing. Rush Fee payments will be processed within 1 week of selection.
Rush Fee Add-On (Optional): $99 to expedite preparation and filing.
Full payment must be received before any filing is submitted to the court.

5. Confidentiality

All information you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality. We will only use your information for purposes directly related to your expungement case and will ensure it is handled securely.

6. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. If terminated:

You are responsible for any work completed up to that point.
Your original documents will be returned within 10 business days.

7. Service Commitment & Guarantee

We commit to delivering high-quality, client-focused services. While we cannot guarantee court outcomes, we guarantee:

Your case will be handled with diligence, accuracy, and professionalism.
You will receive clear communication and timely updates throughout the process.
All filings will meet the legal and procedural requirements of the state where your case is filed.
If errors on our part cause a filing to be rejected, we will correct and refile at no additional charge.

If we determine you are not legally eligible during our review, a full refund will be issued.
If the court denies your case due to our error, a full refund will be issued.
Refunds are not available if your case is denied because:
- You provided incomplete or inaccurate information.
- You failed to submit the requested documents.
- You missed a required court hearing.
- Eligibility is determined by law, and final decisions rest with the court.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state where your expungement case will be filed.

9. Authorization to File

By signing this Agreement, you expressly authorize CleanSlate Docs to prepare, sign, and file petitions and related documents on your behalf with the appropriate court(s) and government agencies for the purpose of seeking expungement of your eligible records. This authorization remains valid for the duration of this Agreement unless revoked in writing.
